Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind – Mission Statement
Friends,
I was involved in a major learning event and was unable to blog again last month. The approach introduced in creating mission statements in Habit 2 is very helpful. However, I found it a little bit awkward writing my life purpose around people that have influenced me… What if something about them that influenced me turn out to be untrue? What if they have changed for the worse?
Will I honestly, stick to my well drafted statement based on their previous “positive attributes”?Attached is a more generic approach I adopted from an article in Navpress some years ago that should help you draft your mission statement. I can’t even remember it’s original title. It may take sometime answering those questions, but the reward is great.

I have found my mission statement very helpful & I believe you will find yours too.
